"…and I remember Broad Street when they had, uh, bricks down Broad Street. And I also remember my father worked at Texarkana Stock Yard, Cotton Belt Stock Yards; and my mother had a horse and buggy and as a kid, we would go down Broad Street and I remember where State Line is now, the intersection of State Line there, uh, they had a water trough, and she used to would go there and water the horse and they also had a well there…"
